The Lake Norman motel is a family owned business located on the shores of Lake Norman in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. We are the only motel on Lake Norman!
Our charming rustic motel has 13 efficent rooms, ranging from single bed, double bed, or two room suites. Private showers are included with each one, as is a T.V and mini fridge. Our motel offers two types of rooms: lakefront and roadside, the former being $55 a night and the latter being $50 a night.
It is wise to call ahead of time and make reservations, as we are very popular (especially during the NASCAR race season).
In addition to our lovely clean motel, we have a restaurant and tiki bar (known as The Landing) beneath the motel. We offer great drink specials and amazing food - our ribs and buffalo wings are legendary. Our casual atmosphere provides a perfect backdrop to a relaxing, carefree evening, and who knows - you may meet a NASCAR driver or crew chief here!
For all patrons of our motel, we offer a free boat slip on our boat dock. After a long day of playing on the lake, nothing is better than pulling up to our boat dock, jumping off for a bite to eat at The Landing Restaurant, enjoying a drink or two from the Tiki Bar, and eventually retiring upstairs to call it a night.
